Thanks to boyghost’s recommendation, I will soon be in possession of a great little scanner that’ll do a decent job with my dad’s Hasselblad slides, and will no longer have to take photos of them against a light source.
But I couldn’t resist showing this shot of Seattle in the early 60s. It’s taken from the Space Needle looking south, shortly after it was built. If you look carefully, you can see the tall, slender outline of the Smith Tower over to the left. At the time, it was the tallest building west of the Mississippi.
