Apartment Therapy has a great article up that’s chock full of tips from people from all over the world on how to stay cool, and keep your pets cool, in the coming hot days of summer. Some tips are really old school. And some are charming.
One that I’ll be using:
Freeze a 2 liter bottle with water. Put in a pillow case and hold to your chest like a teddy. Cooling down the central core will cool down all extremities as a result. My roomie calls them “ice babies”. - Novalis
